Roberto & Ricardo Vergara finished a respectable 9th & 10th at the IAAF Challenge event in Chihuahua, Mexico.  At significant altitude, their times for 10000m were 40:57.1 and 50:49.8.  Full results are at www.walkingchihuahua.com. 

Olivia Lapham pulled off a monster upset at the NYS HS Champs on the campus of Cornell University.  Pre-race favorite, Leah Buletti, was relegated to a disappointing 3rd place in her attempt to defend the Indoor title she won last year.  Results below. 

Both the NIN & NSIC will take place next weekend, in what should be thrilling and spirited competitions.  Both Vergara boys will be looking for unprecedented 3-peats and Leah Buletti will be trying to stamp herself as the next great one in MD, with the NY race a wide open competition.  Full entries are below.
