January 14-17, at the VA Beach Sports Center, we’ll have the 6th edition of the VA Showcase Meet, which bills itself as the largest Indoor T&F Meet in the US. Surely, Covid has affected entries, but this should still be a spectacular meet.
Past editions have showcased the efforts of Taylor Ewert in attempts to set records in the Indoor 3000m, often lapping the field numerous times.

The 2021 edition will feature 3 young men from Virginia & Ohio racing the Mile, tentatively scheduled to begin at 5:55 on Saturday evening.

Here is the performance history in the Boy’s event. Goldslager was 2nd in 2020 and will be looking to improve his placing while also taking a shot at the Meet Record of 8:21.76 by Paine Gronemeyer from 2020. A Sub 8:00 time would also put anyone onto the National Performance List for the season.
